How to create a client team

When a client doesn't use Feedr yet, you can create their team for them. The new team is connected to your agency straight away, so you can start setting up their shops right after.

TIP

If your client already has a Feedr team, don't create a new one. Send them your invite link instead. See how to invite an existing client.

Create the client

  1. Go to Clients and click Create client.
  2. Fill in the client's details:
    • Client logo (optional). The image must be 5 MB or smaller.
    • Client name. It must be at least 3 characters.
    • Client website, for example mystore.com.
    • Client business email. Feedr uses this address to contact the client about their account and about their connection to your agency.
    • Client billing email (optional). Invoices go here. If you leave it empty, the business email is used.
    • Client country.
  3. Under Invite client owners, add the email addresses of the people at your client who should own the team. You can add up to 10 addresses with Add another email, and choose the Invitation language for the emails.
  4. Click Create client.

The client now appears on your Clients page.

Who owns the client team

  • You. The person at your agency who creates the client becomes an owner of the client team.
  • The people you invited. They become owners when they accept the invitation.
  • The rest of your agency gets access through the agency connection. By default that is everyone at your agency, and an agency owner can narrow it down to selected people.

Inviting the client's own people as owners means they can manage their subscription and users, and they stay in control of their account.

The free trial

Every new client team starts with a free trial. The length is shown when you create the client, and the trial starts as soon as the client is created. When the trial ends, the client chooses a plan and pays for their own subscription.

You can follow each client's trial and subscription status on the Clients page. A client gets a Warning status when their trial ends within 7 days.
